If you’re here, you’re probably like us, drawn to handcrafted textiles and the process behind how slow fashion pieces come to life.
Exploring new textile techniques and developing garment styles is what we do. The process is exciting, and something we genuinely love. At the same time, introducing something new always carries a certain weight.
Usually we sit with new things for a long time, going through rounds of weighing all the different factors to be considered. So this means that by the time it reaches you, it could have been development for over a year (sometimes longer)
So we thought we’d try something different. To share this a little earlier, and open up these moments with our community.
The pieces you’ll see here are part of that process. Each style and colourway was made in very limited numbers. As this is an early step, these pieces may not return or be made again in the same way.
This small exploration capsule includes four pieces: a returning wrap dress in two colourways, alongside a new dress and a new top style.
If something speaks to you, you’re welcome to reach out via email or DM to enquire. We’ll share availability, sizing, and details directly. And if you have thoughts to share, whether about the craft, the pieces, or where you’d like to see this go next, we’d love to hear them.

Introducing the fabric: Jamdani
The textile we've been exploring comes from Karghewale, an initiative that works directly with homeloom weavers across India to uplift the amazing work they do. We first spoke to co-founder Nivedita in late 2024 and since then have always been on the look-out for a chance to work together.
Historically, Jamdani originated in Dhaka and has since been carried forward by weavers across Bengal, including in India. It is a lightweight, muslin cotton textile weaved directly on looms using a discontinuous weft technique.
Motifs are added to the handwoven base fabric, by artisans interlacing threads using fine bamboo sticks into the base fabric. This intricate work gives Jamdani its characteristic look where the patterns look like they’re floating on top of the cloth.
